Growing up in Perrysburg, Ohio, Alexandria spent her days hanging upside down during recess and nights dancing with multiple ballet companies. After realizing the likelihood of becoming a prima ballerina was slim, she decided to try life without dance. Graduating from Boston Univeristy with a degree in hospitality Alexandria began managing restaurants for various celebrity chefs but continued to dream of dancing. So, after moving to New York, she attempted pole dancing classes as a way to fill her craving to dance, get some exercise and have fun. After years of playing with pole she tried her hand at other aerial apparatuses and knew that this was the career she had been searching for. Alexandria loves that teaching and performing aerial arts allows her the grace of ballet and the silliness of upside down smiles.
Alexandria is an aerialist, choreographer, dancer and instructor based out of New York City. Her diverse aerial training includes lyra, silks/tissue, hammock, sling (single and double), mini cube, lollipop lyra and pole. She has performed as both a soloist and part of an aerial duet and may most often be found pouring Champagne from the sky for private events with Cirque Central. You can check out her upcoming performances and teaching schedule on her Classes and Shows page. Or, you may always inquire on her Contact page about private lessons, visiting your studio for intensives and performances.
When not dancing Alexandria can be found baking and decorating cakes or playing with her dog, Derek Zoolander.
